1. What this covers
This Privacy Policy explains how KamerTech handles information from readers, newsletter subscribers, advertisers, and team members who use the publishing dashboard.
In this policy, "KamerTech" means the KamerTech website, admin tools, newsletter features, ad features, and related services. The policy uses "KamerTech" instead of legal phrases like "we," "our," or "us" wherever possible so it is clear who is being discussed.
2. Readers
You can read KamerTech articles without creating a public reader account. When you browse the site, KamerTech may record basic activity needed to understand article performance, such as:
- The article viewed.
- A browser session ID used for article view and reading-progress analytics.
- Reading progress on an article.
- Share events, including the platform selected when you share an article.
This information helps KamerTech understand which stories are being read and how the site is performing.
4. Team accounts
KamerTech has admin and editorial accounts for people who manage the site. For those accounts, KamerTech stores account and profile information such as name, email address, password hash, role, avatar, bio, public email, social links, team page visibility, and related profile settings.
When a team member logs in, KamerTech stores an authentication token in the browser's local storage so the dashboard can stay signed in. Logging out removes that token from the browser.
5. Site data
KamerTech uses local storage and similar browser storage for a small number of site functions, including admin login tokens, newsletter navigation behavior, and a visitor ID used for ad impression and click tracking.
KamerTech tracks ad impressions and clicks to report campaign performance. The visitor ID helps avoid counting the same ad event repeatedly within a short period. KamerTech also stores aggregated ad statistics such as impressions, clicks, and click-through rate.
7. Your choices
You can contact KamerTech to ask for access, correction, or deletion of personal information associated with you. Depending on where you live, local privacy laws may provide additional rights.
- Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe from newsletter emails or ask KamerTech to mark their subscription as unsubscribed.
- Team members can update public profile details from the admin profile page.
- You can clear browser storage in your browser settings, although some dashboard and tracking features may stop working correctly.
8. Contact
